This year as I dig deeper into the Mathematics CCSS, I continue to focus on the 8 mathematical practices. Trying to put them in student words. There is a table in the TEACHING CHILDREN MATHEMATICS, March 2012 ... that did a great job putting each practice in "student-friendly language".
